Here at Calvary, we are committed to showing God’s Love, teaching the truth and helping each child develop a personal relationship with God. It is our goal to help each child learn to Glorify God by becoming Disciples that Know and Live God’s Will.
Sunday Mornings Available 9:00 a.m. – end of worship
SPROUTS – Infant through 24 months (Growing into a life of faith)
Our nursery is staffed with a focus on consistency. As we lovingly interact with and care for an infant, Christ’s love is being shared. Each week infant and toddlers learn that God made everything and that everything He made is good. Our desire is for each infant to experience church as a safe and loving place to be.
THE TREEHOUSE – 3 years old – Kindergarten (Rooted in Christ and growing in faith)
Children will discover God, His loving character, His greatness, His plan, His power and His holy word. Children will also discover Jesus as we guide them to become Jesus’ friend. Our desire is that children learn biblical truths through activities as well as experience the love and grace of God through interactions and relationships.
Sunday Mornings During 10:30 Worship
Children will begin with their families in the contemporary service and from there will be released to their own “church”. It will be led by the Children’s Coordinator and youth micro-groups. We will praise and worship the Lord through song and dance, gain a better understanding of the Bible through creative hand motions for memorization, practice navigating the Bible, interact with each other and leaders in small groups and connect it all through games!
At Calvary, nothing is more important to us than the safety and security of your children. During your first visit, we will ask you to complete a registration form; thereafter you will check in at the Kid Check-in Station. Our system allows for speedy check-in, text messaging to you in case of emergencies, alerts us of any medical/allergy information, and tracking of child-to-adult ratio in classrooms. Most importantly, it provides security for your child; you control who is allowed to pick up your child after class. Each time you check in you will receive a name tag for your child and a corresponding guardian label that must be presented at time of pick-up.
Keeping Everyone Safe
If you would like to be considered as a children’s ministry volunteer, we ask that you please fill out a volunteer application and background check authorization. You can find these forms on the Children’s Ministry information table. Thank you for being willing to share your time and talents with our kids!
